Regent Airways, a pioneer private owned airliner started its Dhaka to Saidpur journey from today. The airline launched its first flight from Dhaka which arrived at Saidpur this morning.
Dr. Nazmul Ahsan Kalim Ullah, the Vice Chancellor of Begum Rokeya University of Rangpur inaugurated Regent Airways’s first flight in Dhaka to Saidpur route at the Saidpur Airport. Among others, CEO of Regent Airways Lietenant General (Retired) Fazle Akbar, ndc, psc, PhD, Chief Commercial Manager Hanif Zakaria, Saidpur Airport Manager Shahin Ahmed and CEO of Shifat Tour and Travels, the local agent of Regent Airways Jahurul Islam was present at the inaugural program.
According to Regent Airways announcement, there will be two flights daily at this route. Schedule of these two flights is as below(Please swipe left/right to view the full table):

The airline will operate its operation using one 50 seater Bombardier Dash 8Q 300 flight.
Regent Airways also announced its inaugural air fare for both one way and return tickets. For one way, the fare will start from 2,699 BDT and as for return fare, passengers will have to spend from 5,398 BDT. This fare will be in effect from today until further announcement.
In his speech, CEO of Regent Airways Lt. General Akbar said that the significance of Northern region of Bangladesh has increased recently due to various development activities in addition to the presence of Uttara Export Processing Zone (UEPZ), Barapukuria Coal Mine, Madhyapara Granite Mine at this area. Regent Airways is here to keep up with the booming business opportunity in this region.
Airway communication is increasing day by day and this industry is experiencing an increased pressure of passenger at this route everyday.
Currently, Regent Airways is operating domestic flights in Dhaka to Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar routes and international flights to Doha, Masqat, Kuala Lumpur, Kolkata, Singapore, Bangkok and Kathmandu routes. It is also planning to expand its business to Jessore and Sylhet in domestic routes and also to Dammam of Saudi Arabia.
