Regent Airways, the leading private airline in Bangladesh, launched its Dhaka to Bangkok flight on October 9, 2013, after a successful operation to the Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia flight on July 15, 2013. Mainly popular for its domestic operations, Regent Airways started this new flight considering the rising popularity of its passengers.
According to Regent Airways, the airline will operate four Dhaka to Bangkok flights (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday) every week according to the following schedule:
Civil Aviation & Tourism Minister Lt. Col. (Rtd) Muhammad Faruk Khan MP was present at the flight launching event amid the presence of Civil Aviation chairman Vice Marshal Mahmud Hussain, Regent Airways Managing Director Mr Mashruf Habib, Chief Executive Officer Dr Abdul Momen, and another high official of the company.
Customers can purchase an economy class ticket for 20,707 BDT (round trip) and a business class ticket at 35,487 BDT (round trip), inclusive of all govt. Taxes from authorised travel agents, Regent Airways sales offices and Regent Airway’s website www.flyregent.com
The airline will operate flights with its newly acquired two Boeing 737-700 aircraft with 114 economy class and 12 business class seats. This will facilitate the passengers a comfortable feeling and enjoyable latest in-flight entertainments on board during the journey.
