Novoair, one of the private owned airlines in Bangladesh, is planning to launch Dhaka-Guwahati Flights very soon with its brand new ATR-72 500 aircraft added to its fleet yesterday (December 29, 2015).
The newest addition of this aircraft to this renowned airliner increased the fleet size to 4. With this new aircraft, Novoair started its Dhaka to Yangon flight and is planning
Freshly added aircraft of ATR-72 500 series is a state of the art aircraft manufactured by ATR Aircraft company, a France-Italy joint venture company. This newly included flying bird has been inaugurated by Mr. Sanaul Haque, the Chairman of CIvil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) at 6 pm yesterday.
Newly bought ATR-72 500 aircraft will be used for domestic and international flights to and from Dhaka, Saidpur, Rajshahi, Barisal and Guwahati of India. Novoair launched its first international flight in Dhaka to Yangon route from 1 December, 2015.
Mafizur Rahman, Managing Director of Novoair and other senior officials were present at the inauguration ceremony.
Novoair started its journey in March, 2013 and since then, it has been successful in maintaining a very high standard of services in flight operations and achieved satisfaction of more than 97 percent passengers of the airline.
Mr. Mafizur Rahman also informed the audience and the guests present there that, the airline is also expecting two more ATR-72 500 aircraft to be included in its fleet which will raise the tally of aircraft to 6 by then.

Currently Novoair has 3 Embraer EMB 145 aircrafts in its fleet. ATR-72 500 aircraft is much more spacious and modern and will ensure maximum comfort to its passenger.
ATR-72 500 aircraft has 66 seats on board and can fly at a maximum speed of 510 Km per hour.
Novoair is expecting to start first ever flight from First of April this year from Dhaka to Guwahati in India among any domestic or international scheduled flight operator. This Dhaka-Guwahati route will certainly curtail the time and distance of travel significantly
